Ouya Development In Full Swing

To the left is a screenshot of a game in development for the Ouya, by Australian Indie game developer Kactus Games. The game goes under the current name, Sea States, in which players will be able to build their own "micro-nations" in international waters. A sort of  "SimCity" on the high seas!

My son, Alex Wells, has been helping the Indie team as a freelance artist. It's his yacht in the screenshot that you see. The game certainly sounds like it could be a lot of fun. It's part of the CREATE game jam, sponsored by Killscreen and Ouya, an online contest challenging developers to make playable prototypes for the Ouya in just 10 days. Many world-class games have been developed in previous game jams, maybe this will be the next one!
