It Would Seem the U.S. is Back on Track

According to White House spokesman Jay Carney, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who at this time lies in a Boston hospital recovering from wounds, will stand trial in a Federal courtroom for his crimes. This is a good thing. It's about time that our government shows a commitment to the ideals that it stands for. Unfortunately there are still several "vocal" members of the GOP who are advocating that Mr. Tsarnaev be tried as an enemy combatant. While I believe they certainly have a right to voice their opinion, it is saddening that leaders of our country would show so little care for the liberties and freedoms of their fellow citizens.

Sexist CBS Takes A Stand

Has anyone out there been reading about the sexist attitude that CBS is taking towards female performers for this year's Grammy Awards Show? Here's a link to a story that details the "requirements" for female performers to comply with as far as dress is concerned. It's absolutely ridiculous how they are singling out female performers and dictating to them what is appropriate dress. In my opinion every male performer at the Grammy's should strut out on stage wearing nothing more than a thong! No requirements are being made of them, as if only women can offend by displaying their skin. I'd love to see Justin Timberlake walk out on the stage leaving little to the imagination. Let CBS executives choke on their hypocrisy then!

CBS cancels Jericho!

Frankly, I'm sick and tired of Network television. Everytime I find a show I like, and become a dedicated viewer, it gets pulled because it's not a blockbuster mega-hit! Jericho had great ratings, but just because it wasn't the no. 1 show on TV it get unceremoniously canceled.

They did the same thing to me last year when I watched Invasion. I think from now on I'm not watching anymore Network TV programming. The dipshits at ABC, CBS & NBC can kiss my ass!
