Well, just got back from seeing Mel Gibson's "Apocalypto". I wasn't keen to see this movie, but my wife, who runs a blog called "lisaspassion4mel", here at blogspot took me to see it. I was pleasantly surprised to find this an enjoyable movie, if you don't get nauseous easily as a couple of women in the theater did! I'd rate this movie a 9 out of 10. Visually, it was stunning. Mel Gibson pulled out all the stops and made this movie an incredible action ride full of characters that you'll come to either love, or hate.
I'd recommend this movie to anyone that likes action, suspence and a movie that in the end, embodies our need for the closeness of family.
